Jake is recruited to replace his twin who died in the line of duty.He was then given a replacement body in the form of a local tribe, the Na’vi.
Unexpectedly, he was accepted by the Omaticaya clan, aka the forest tribe, who had to defend their home from human attacks.However, as time went by, he experienced anxiety that disturbed his conscience and loyalty.

After Quaritch was killed by Neytiri, he has now returned but in avatar form to take revenge on Jake Sully.
