finally announced that gasoline fuel oil (BBM) stocks are back in stock and have been sold at several fuel filling stations in the Jakarta, Banten and West Java areas, as of today, Sunday 7 December 2025.
“Shell Super is starting to be available again at Shell gas stations,” as quoted on their official website, Sunday (7/12).

Apart from petrol, Shell announced a number of diesel fuel products such as Shell V-Power Diesel, and services at Shell Select, Shell Gas Station Workshop and Shell Recharge are now available.
For petrol types, availability for now is only the Shell Super type.Meanwhile, Shell V-Power and Shell V-Power Nitro+ are not yet available.
“Sorry, Shell V-Power is not available at Shell gas stations for an unknown time,” he said.
There are more than 100 Shell gas stations in Jakarta, West Java and Banten which today resumed selling petrol after a long hiatus.
Several Shell gas stations that have resumed selling petrol include Shell Arjuna Utara 1, Shell Daan Mogot 1, Shell Imam Bonjol, Shell Jorr, Shell Kyai Tapa 1 in West Jakarta.
Then Shell Antasari 1, Shell Arteri PI 1, Shell Ciputat Raya 1 and 2, Shell Fatmawati 1, Shell Gatot Subroto 1, Shell Field Ros 1 and Shell Lenteng Agung 1 in South Jakarta.
Shell gas stations in East, North and Central Jakarta, as well as in the Banten, Bekasi, Depok areas have also resumed selling Shell Super petrol.
Shell Indonesia previously stated that discussions on fuel imports were still ongoing through a business-to-business mechanism with Pertamina Patra Niaga.
As a result, Shell gas stations have run out of gasoline stock in recent weeks, including Shell Super, V-Power, and V-Power Nitro+.Shell said it was ensuring that the fuel products it would supply meet their global operational safety and quality standards.
On Friday (5/12), PT Shell Indonesia finally received 100 thousand barrels of base fuel (pure) from PT Pertamina Patra Niaga.
Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary, Roberth MV Dumatubun said that this supply is part of the company’s commitment to maintaining the collaboration mandate mandated by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, as well as maintaining energy security and distribution for Indonesia.
“The distribution to Shell Indonesia confirms that Pertamina Patra Niaga is not only ready to meet the fuel needs for Pertamina’s gas station network, but is also a strategic partner for private gas station operators. For Shell Indonesia, the distribution this time is 100 thousand barrels,” said Roberth in a written statement, Friday (5/12).
