Gus Ipul said the submission of the list of names was given to the President by the Minister of Culture Fadli Zon.

“Yes, of course it has been (submitted to the President), from the Titles Council, right? Mr. Fadli Zon has already gone to the President to submit the names that have met the requirements,” said Gus Ipul to journalists in Central Jakarta, Saturday (8/11).
Gus Ipul explained that the names proposed consisted of 40 new proposals and 9 from previous proposals that had not been determined by the president.He explained that of the 49 names, there were the figures of the 2nd President of the Republic of Indonesia, Soeharto and labor activist Marsinah.
“There are several names, including of course President Soeharto, President Gus Dur, there is Syekhona Kholil Bangkalan, there is Kiai Bisri Syansuri, and there are other fighters from various provinces. (Marsinah) yes, enter, enter, (category) labor fighter Marsinah is also included from those 49,” said Gus Ipul.
He said that the announcement of the 49 names who would be given the title of hero would later be made directly by the President.He also asked the public to be patient in waiting for confirmation of the list of names of the 49 figures who will be given the title of hero.
“Later we will listen to the announcement which, God willing, we will know about together, OK? The important thing is that the process has been completed, whoever is decided will certainly meet the requirements,” he added.
