South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Commissioner Nicolas Ary Lilipaly said the victim’s stepfather had also been named a suspect and immediately detained.

Previously, Alvaro Kiano Nugroho was declared missing since March 6.The incident began when Alvaro received permission to perform Maghrib prayers at the mosque near his house in the Ulujami area, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta.
However, after the Maghrib prayer it turned out that Alvaro had not come home.So, the family looked for his whereabouts and his friend admitted that he was not with him when praying.In the end, the family chose to report to the police to find Alvaro’s whereabouts.

Alvaro’s grandfather, Tugimin (71), suspects that Alvaro was kidnapped by a man who claimed to be his father.Tugimin obtained this information from the marbut of the Al-Muflihun Mosque, where Alvaro was last seen.
