was reported to be absent from the initial trial with the agenda of reading the indictment in the alleged corruption case in the procurement of Chromebook laptops at the Corruption Crime Court (Tipikor), Jakarta, Tuesday (16/12) today.

“It’s true that the person concerned is still being escorted, the trial remains on schedule, the court will open later, whether it will continue or not depends on the panel of judges,” said Anang when confirmed.
According to Anang, so far only Nadiem has been reported to be absent from the trial.Meanwhile, three other suspects in the case are reported to be present.
However, the decision to continue the trial will still be decided by the panel of judges after the trial opens.
“We are waiting for the panel of judges to handle it,” he said.
Spokesperson for the Central Jakarta District Court (PN), Firman Akbar, said otherwise.He said the trial of the three other suspects would continue.
“The only thing that is uncertain is Nadiem,” said Firman.
Director of Prosecution at the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), Riono Budisantoso, said that this case was related to the procurement of technology, information and communication (ICT) devices in the form of Chromebooks and Chrome Device Management (CDM) which was carried out in 2019-2022.
Apart from Nadiem, the three suspects are Technology Consultant of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Ibrahim Arief;Director of Elementary Schools (SD) at the Directorate General of Early Childhood Education, Basic Education and Secondary Education, Ministry of Education and Culture in 2020-2021, as well as Budget User Authority within the Directorate of Elementary Schools at the Ministry of Education and Culture, Ministry of Education and Culture for the 2020-202 Fiscal Year, Sri Wahyuningsih.
Finally, the Director of Junior High Schools (SMP) at the Directorate General of Early Childhood Education, Basic Education and Secondary Education, Ministry of Education and Culture for 2020-2021, as well as the Budget User Authority (KPA) within the Directorate of Middle Schools, Ministry of Education and Culture for the 2020-2021 Fiscal Year, Mulyatsyah.
Actually, there is one other suspect in the case but he is still at large.The suspect who is still at large is former Nadiem Special Staff at the Ministry of Education and Culture, Jurist Tan.
