Head of DP3APPKB Surabaya, Ida Widayati, said that the FAR victim experienced severe trauma due to the incident he experienced while at the Islamic boarding school in Lamongan .

“Regarding the Lamongan Islamic boarding school case, we have accompanied the victim. Since last Monday,” said Ida, when confirmed, Thursday (6/11).
Currently, said Ida, FAR refuses to continue his education at the Islamic boarding school.The reason is, FAR is still traumatized or afraid of the perpetrator who bullied him and stole his belongings.
“The victim’s condition is traumatized and he no longer wants (to return) to the Islamic boarding school. The trigger is that the perpetrator often steals the victim’s clothes,” he said.
Furthermore, Ida received information that the victim’s family had carried out a mediation process.But FAR’s parents asked that the legal process in this case continue.
“Because the legal process is at the Lamongan Police, the legal assistance is provided by the East Java Province UPTD PPA,” he said.
“The information is that today a mediation process was carried out at the Lamongan Police.”But the victim’s mother wants the legal process to continue,” added Ida.
Meanwhile, the victim’s parents, WN (32), confirmed the information revealed by Ida.According to him, his son is now quieter after becoming a victim of bullying at the Islamic boarding school.
“It feels like the child is quieter, more like he feels guilty, like he’s afraid it will happen again [the bullying].”It’s hard to talk to,” said WN.
WN revealed that his son even refused to continue his education at the Islamic boarding school.Instead, the victim continued his studies at a religious school in Surabaya.
“Yes, I have met his friends again, there are already people who know him, who want to interact with him.”At first he thought that after this he wouldn’t have any friends anymore,” he said.
Previously, FAR experienced allegations
bullying
and violence at one of the Islamic boarding schools in Paciran District, Lamongan.The victim allegedly experienced physical violence allegedly carried out by two of his friends, RR (14) and AA (14).
As a result of the bullying, the victim suffered injuries to her head and eyes, as well as severe trauma and refused to return to boarding.
“I don’t want it anymore.I don’t want to [stay home again],” said FAR.
Meanwhile, the Lamongan Police admitted that they had received reports of alleged violence at the Islamic boarding school.They are currently examining a number of witnesses.
“The Lamongan Police have received a complaint regarding alleged acts of violence at a religious educational institution in Lamongan Regency,” said Head of Public Relations for the Lamongan Police, Ipda M Hamzaid.
