tonight, Thursday 6 November 2025, will show Men in Black (1997) at 21.00 WIB.The following is a synopsis of Men in Black starring Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith, which opens the film series.
The first film in the Men in Black series tells the story of the Men in Black (MiB) organization founded in 1961 after secretly making first contact with extraterrestrials.

Some time later, NYPD officer James Darrell Edwards III (Will Smith) arrests a particularly agile criminal, who then commits suicide.
When he was reprimanded by his superiors, James was visited by K, who was scouting him as a potential MIB recruit.After his death, James became Agent J while MiB erased him from government records.
Meanwhile, the alien “Bug” crash-lands in upstate New York, kills a farmer named Edgar, and wears his skin as a disguise.
He then kills two aliens in disguise, is sent to the city morgue, and is supervised by coroner Laurel Weaver (Linda Fiorentino).
While investigating the Bug’s activities, K and J arrive at the morgue, where one of the aliens tells J and Laurel “that galaxy is in Orion’s belt” before dying.
After neutralizing Laurel, K reveals the alien is Rosenberg, an Arquillian prince, before taking J to meet an informant named Frank.
He further reveals that Rosenberg is protecting a mini galaxy, a valuable source of subatomic energy, Bugs wants to use it to destroy the Arquillians, and that galaxy is on Earth.
Simultaneously, the MiB learns that an Arquillian warship has entered Earth orbit to claim the galaxy.
Men in Black (1997) is a film directed by Barry Sonnenfeld from a script written by Ed Solomon based on the Marvel comic series of the same title by Lowell Cunningham.
This film first aired on July 2 1997 and collected profits with US$589.4 million global box office earnings from a total production budget of US$90 million.
