The film Premium Rush follows the story of Wilee (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) who is a bicycle deliveryman.He works with his ex-girlfriend, Vanessa (Dania Ramirez), who also has the same job as Wilee.

One day, Wilee gets an assignment to deliver goods from Nima (Jamie Chung), who is Vanessa’s friend.He had to deliver US$50 thousand wrapped in mysterious packaging to Chen.
Chen is a human smuggler, and Nima intends to use his services to move the mother and child from China to America.
At first Wilee didn’t know the contents of the package he had to send.Until suddenly he was chased by a policeman named Bobby (Michael Shannon).

It turns out that Bobby is a policeman who likes gambling.He often lost and owed a lot to one of the bookies in Chinatown.
In that condition, Bobby found out that someone was sending US$50 thousand to Chen.Urgent conditions require Bobby to pay his debt.So, he chased Wilee.
Wilee also has to try to escape Bobby’s pursuit so he can deliver the goods to the sender.
Premium Rush was first broadcast on August 24 2012. Before it was broadcast, this film was involved in a legal case.Writer Joe Quirk claims the film is based on the novel The Ultimate Rush which he published in 1998.
However, in April 2013, the case was declared closed with the decision that the two works were not the same.
Apart from Joseph Gordon-Levitt, the film Premium Rush also stars Michael Shannon, Dania Ramirez, and Jamie Chung.
