couldn’t hold back his tears when discussing terror threats while on The Eras Tour in Europe last year.In the documentary series The End of an Era, which aired Friday (12/12), Swift admitted that she experienced an anxiety disorder due to the terror.
“I think this is going to be a tour that I’m really proud of. But it’s more than just a tour,” Swift said in the first episode of the docu-series.

“This is a force to be reckoned with in global culture. So, I never in my lifetime thought we would face a terrorist plot,” he said.
The Eras Tour concert in Vienna which was scheduled for 8-10 August 2024 was canceled after three hours earlier, local police arrested a number of people who were planning a terror attack during the concert.
Before the concert, an attack also occurred at a Taylor Swift themed party attended by a number of children in Liverpool in July 2024. The attack killed three girls.
“Basically, it’s a strange feeling heading into the last five shows in Europe because… we’ve done 128 shows so far,” he said in the recording taken in 2024.
“But this is the first one where I feel like I’m playing on thin ice or something. We’ve just experienced a series of very violent and scary events during the tour,” he continued.
“We escaped a massacre situation. There was a terrible attack in Liverpool at a Taylor Swift themed dance party. And it was little kids who, uh…” Swift trailed off and her voice shook.
“Everything will be fine, because when I meet them, I won’t do this. By God, I won’t do this,” he promised while wiping his tears.”I’ll smile.”
Swift said she did her best to remain calm in dealing with situations that triggered panic and fear.He likened himself to a plane pilot going through turbulence in the air.
“You just have to be calm, relaxed and in control, like, ‘We’re going to land in Dallas at 6:05 p.m. There’s going to be a little turbulence ahead, but it’s nothing we’ve never seen before. Keep your seat belts fastened and welcome to the Eras Tour’.”

The perpetrator of the attack in Liverpool was an 18 year old teenager named Axel Rudakubana.
ABC News
said that in January 2025, Rudakubana was sentenced to 52 years in prison for the murder of three girls.
Taylor Swift’s documentary series, The End of an Era, will air from December 12, 2025. This six-episode series will air two episodes every week.
Apart from that, Taylor Swift also screened the concert film The Eras Tour: The Final Show on the same date.Both were released on Disney+ Hotstar.
