The teacher named Ahmad Firman DM apologized after he was summoned by the Bulukumba Education and Culture Service (Disdikbud).
“I am very sorry for the actions I took and am committed together with other school members to create a school that is safe, comfortable and enjoyable, and free from all violence,” Firman said in his apology video, as quoted by Detiksulsel.

Firman admitted that he was ready to accept the consequences if he carried out similar actions again.He regretted making the video.
“I therefore make this statement with the stipulation that if I write false information, which is not true, and repeat unpleasant actions, I am willing to accept sanctions in accordance with applicable laws and regulations,” he said.
Firman’s apology was expressed after he was summoned by the Bulukumba Education and Culture Office regarding the video he uploaded.
No pressure
Head of the Bulukumba Education and Culture Office, Andi Buyung Saputra, explained that Firman’s apology was made based on the teacher’s personal wishes.He emphasized that Firman was under no pressure.
“We can’t comment on that because it’s his right. In the video it also says there was no pressure,” said Buyung.
Buyung said that Firman was summoned to provide clarification.He considered that there was incorrect information in the video that Firman made.
“Well, after we clarified it, it turns out that there was indeed disinformation being conveyed,” said Buyung.
“(In the video recorded by the teacher, he narrates) information that is harmful to children. There are no learning activities there. So I think there is disinformation that needs to be corrected. Maybe that’s why the teacher apologized for providing inaccurate information,” he explained.
In the video uploaded by Firman, it appears that one of the rooms at SDN 156 Kalukubodo has a collapsed roof.Pieces of zinc and sheets of calciboard were seen scattered on the floor.
According to the school, the ceiling collapsed due to strong winds.
A teacher recorded the chaotic conditions and narrated that the roof and ceiling collapsed almost on students.He expressed the hope several times that his school would be repaired soon.
