Mangkubumi’s coronation was carried out after a meeting attended by the extended family of the Surakarta Palace, including Tedjowulan, at Sasana Handrawina, Thursday (13/11).
Tedjowulan admitted that the meeting was held on his initiative.However, he had no idea that Mangkubumi’s coronation would be held at that meeting.

Also present at the meeting were Pakubuwana XIII’s younger siblings.Among them are the King ad interim of the Surakarta Palace, KG Panembahan Agung Tedjowulan, GRAy Koes Moertiyah Wandansari alias Gusti Moeng, and GPH Suryo Wicaksono or usually called Gusti Nenok.
“At that time there was an inauguration. The inauguration of his son Pakubuwana XIII, namely Gusti Mangkubumi, as Prince Pati or future king,” said Nenok after the meeting.
