The flights come amid a US military campaign against suspected drug trafficking networks in the region. The Pentagon is deploying naval and air fleets aimed at suppressing narcotics trafficking.
The campaign and military deployments in the surrounding region sparked new tensions in Venezuela.
Meanwhile, Venezuela accused the US of intending to overthrow the President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro.
This action was at least the fourth since mid-October in which US military aircraft operated near Venezuelan territory.
Previously, B-52s had done so once, while B-1Bs on two other occasions.
The US also deployed the USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier strike group to the Latin American region by placing F-35 stealth jets in Puerto Rico.
They ordered six naval ships in the Caribbean Sea to carry out anti-narcotics operations.
Since early September, US troops have attacked at least 17 vessels suspected of smuggling drugs.
According to US government data, around 67 people died in attacks on 16 ordinary ships and one semi-submersible.
However, the US has not shown evidence that the ships attacked were actually smuggling drugs or simply posing a national security threat.
