The Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Chamber of Commerce warned that the fighting between Thailand and Cambodia this time could last for a long time, for at least 3-5 days.
Chairman of the Ubon Ratchathani Provincial Chamber of Commerce, Mongkol Chunlatas, said that both Thailand and Cambodia were ready to fight.
“Given the current situation, both the Thai and Cambodian sides seem to have prepared very carefully. We assess that this clash is likely to cause more losses than before,” he said.

On Monday (8/12), the Thai military launched air strikes on its border with Cambodia after a Bangkok soldier was killed in clashes on Sunday at the border.
The Thai military claims Cambodian soldiers opened fire on Thai soldiers while they were guarding a number of engineers working on a road repair project in Sisaket Province near the border.Four Thai soldiers were also reportedly injured in the incident.
The Thai military has instructed all units to use all force to protect the people and sovereignty of Thailand.
The Royal Thai Air Force said in a separate statement that a number of F-16 fighter jets had been deployed to help ground units fire at close range.
Cambodia meanwhile reportedly fired a BM-21 rocket at a Thai residential area in Ban Sai Tho 10, Ban Kruat district, Buri Ram, on Monday morning.
So far there have been no reports of fatalities or injuries.
