The 9th session II 2025-2026 officially approved the results of the fit and proper test for seven prospective members of the Judicial Commission (KY) for the 2025-2030 period.
The plenary session was chaired by Deputy Speaker of the DPR Sufmi Dasco Ahmad and attended by 292 of the 479 members of the DPR.Of this number, 152 attended in person, and 140 attended online.
“Can Commission III’s report on the results of the suitability test for prospective KY members be approved?”Dasco said he asked for the meeting participants’ approval, and was greeted with the participants’ approval.

Previously, Commission III of the DPR held a plenary meeting to make decisions regarding the results of the feasibility test on Wednesday (19/11).A total of eight factions in Commission III approved the seven candidates proposed by the selection committee.
The fit and proper test was held in a marathon on November 18-19.After being ratified, the seven names will then be submitted to the President to be appointed.

1. F. Williem Saija – former judge
2. Setyawan Hartono – former judge
3. Anita Kadir – legal practitioner
4. Desmihardi – legal practitioner
5. Andi Muhammad Asrun – academic
6. Abdul Chair Ramadhan – legal academic
7. Abhan – public figure
