The Government of the Republic of Indonesia recorded as many as 45 percent of the distribution of social assistance (
Social Assistance
) Family Hope Program (PKH) and
groceries
not on target.
Through uploads on the official Instagram account of the Government Communication Agency quoted on Sunday (9/21) said that the assistance was not on target that could reach Rp14 to Rp17 trillion of state money that did not directly target people in need.
Updating poverty data through the National Socio -Economic Data (DTSEN) by BPS shows as many as 616,367 families of PKH beneficiaries are no longer feasible to receive assistance.
In addition, there are 1,286,066 beneficiary families who are also considered to be no longer feasible to receive groceries from the government.
In its efforts to reduce social assistance rates that are not on target, the government emphasizes the importance of optimal use of technology.
“There is still a lot of social assistance distribution that is not on target is the main reason for the government to immediately fix the existing system,” wrote the government’s bakom on his Instagram.
One of them is through the digital perlinsos pilot program by updating the Digital Population Identity (IKD).
The government said the program was at the same time to alleviate poverty in Indonesia which was more targeted.
