“The parties who have been arrested and taken to the Red and White House are currently undergoing intensive examination,” said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo in a written statement, Tuesday.
A total of eight people involved in the Arrest Operation (OTT) have arrived at the KPK Office.Two of them are the Head of the PUPR-PKPP Service, Muhammad Arief Setiawan and the Secretary of the PUPR-PKPP Service, Ferry Yunanda.

They are also undergoing intensive examination.One other person who was also caught by OTT will be brought in this afternoon.
In a silent operation carried out by the KPK yesterday, the KPK enforcement team also found and confiscated a number of rupiah denominations and foreign currency whose value had not been disclosed.
Based on the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP), the Corruption Eradication Committee has 1 x 24 hours to determine the legal status of the parties caught red-handed.
Previously, Corruption Eradication Commission Chairman Setyo Budiyanto said that the Hand Capture Operation (OTT) carried out in Riau Province was related to the PUPR Service project.
“Temporary information is like that (regarding the PUPR Service project). The details are waiting for the results and reports from the field team,” he said

This is the sixth OTT in Riau carried out by the KPK in 2025.
The anti-corruption agency has previously carried out a number of similar operations in various regions, ranging from alleged bribery for road projects in North Sumatra to cases of alleged extortion and/or gratification related to the processing of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) certification which involved Immanuel Ebenezer et al when they served as Deputy Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia.
