The Ministry of Social Affairs ensures that rehabilitation is provided to the victims and their families while waiting for the results of an official investigation from the police before drawing conclusions regarding the cause of the explosion.
On this occasion, Saifullah also explained that meetings with victims and families at Yarsi Hospital were more focused on light communication to support their psychological recovery.

He added that most of the victims still showed signs of trauma, but their spirit to recover remained strong.
“From the results of the dialogue with the doctors, I see that the children have great enthusiasm to get well soon. Let’s pray together,” he said.
Based on data from the National Police Service Post at the Cempaka Putih Islamic Hospital, as of Saturday afternoon at 10.00 WIB there were a total of 96 explosion victims being treated at three hospitals in the Central Jakarta area.
At the Cempaka Putih Islamic Hospital there were 43 patients (consisting of 14 inpatients and 29 patients who had gone home).Yarsi Hospital is treating 15 patients (with 14 undergoing inpatient treatment and one has been discharged), while Pertamina Jaya Hospital is treating seven patients, one of whom is still being treated.
In total, 67 patients have been allowed to go home, while 29 other people are still undergoing medical treatment at the three hospitals.
In a press conference on the same day at Cempaka Putih Hospital, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo said the suspected perpetrator of the explosion was a student at the school himself.This student is 17 years old and was also injured in the explosion.
Listyo said the authorities were still investigating the perpetrator’s motives and would check social media and family history to look for answers.
He said that currently the alleged perpetrator’s condition continues to improve and it is hoped that an examination can be carried out soon.
When asked about the motive for the alleged bullying experienced by the alleged perpetrator, Listyo said that the authorities were still opening up all possibilities because the investigation was still ongoing.
“That’s one of the things we collect as part of our efforts to uncover motives. This means that we collect related information that supports our process to support our process to get a picture of motives,” said Listyo.
