, Marcos Reina is challenged to bring his team to be able to compete in the 2025/2026 Super League.
Reina considers the Super League to be very tight and challenging so he has analyzed the strengths of other teams.The White Tiger team currently occupies 12th position in the Super League standings.
“The Indonesian League is very challenging for me as a coach. The character and atmosphere are also good. Of course this is different from other countries’ leagues where I have been there,” said Reina.

“Before coming to Persik Kediri, I of course had to study the performance of the teams in the Super League. I know which teams are usually at the top and which teams are currently struggling. So I have quite an idea of how the Indonesian competition, supporters and foreign players are,” explained Reina.
Regarding the style of play that is being promoted, the Spanish coach has prepared the style of play that he will use with Persik Kediri.
“I want to form a team that is more ball possession oriented. Persik has good players. So I’m sure the players will be able to implement this philosophy,” said Reina.
“We will make this team even more solid. I have seen the previous match but I have to know more deeply and understand the quality of each player to the maximum,” he continued.
The 40 year old coach has experience in various competitions outside Spain, such as the Mexican League, United States League and Andorran League.The last club managed by Marcos Reina was FC Ranger’s, which plays in the highest caste of the Andorran League.
Marcos Reina is scheduled to start coaching Persik Kediri on December 8 when all the White Tiger players gather after a week-long holiday.
Persik Kediri’s first match with Marcos Reina is scheduled for them to visit Persita Tangerang headquarters in the 15th week of the Super League at the Indomilk Arena Stadium, Tangerang, Sunday (21/12) at 15.30 WIB.
