Arsenal were forced to give up 1-2 when they visited Villa Park, Aston Villa’s headquarters, Saturday (6/12).This was the Gunners’ first defeat in the last 19 matches in all competitions.
In this match, Aston Villa took a 1-0 lead through Matty Cash’s goal in the 36th minute.Leandro Trossard then equalized the score at 1-1 in the 52nd minute.

When the match looked like it would end in a draw, Emiliano Buendia found the back of David Raya’s goal which gave Aston Villa a dramatic 2-1 win in the 90+5 minute.
Separately, Liverpool had to settle for a 3-3 draw against Leeds United at Ellan Road, Sunday (7/12) early morning WIB.
Liverpool took a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Hugo Ekitike in the 48th and 50th minutes. Leeds were then able to equalize 2-2 through Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Anton Stach (73′, 75′).
Dominik Szoboszlai put Liverpool ahead 3-2 in the 80th minute.However, Leeds was able to equalize the score in injury time thanks to Ao Tanaka’s goal.
This result makes the race for the Premier League title heat up again.Arsenal still remains at the top of the standings with a collection of 33 points, but is only two points away from closest rival Manchester City.
Aston Villa is stalking in third place with 31 points.Meanwhile Liverpool is in eighth position with 23 points.
