The combined SAR team evacuated a Mercedez-Benz luxury car from the ruins of the Islamic Boarding School building

It is not yet known who the owner and how many police numbers (nopol) of the car are, but the vehicle is allegedly belonging to the caretaker of the pesantren parked between the collapsed building and the caregiver’s house since before the incident.
The car’s carcass has now been successfully lifted from the rubble of the ruins using an excavator heavy equipment, and then transported using a dump truck, to the final disposal site.
Head of Class A SAR Office in Surabaya Nanang Sigit as on Scene Coordinator (OSC) refused to comment on the evacuation of one unit of the car.
“For the evacuation of the car we did not comment there. We focus on the evacuation of victims or victims which means humans,” Nanang said.
37 Killed
Head of Sub -Directorate of RPDO (Direction and Control of Operations) Disaster and Human Dangerous Conditions (KMM) Basarnas, Emi Freezer said the total number of victims died to 37 people.

The victim’s body was then taken to the Bhayangkara Hospital in Surabaya for the identification process by the East Java Regional Police DVI.
“The evacuation process is still ongoing. Cleaning the debris is focused on the north side of the part that is not integrated with the main structure,” he said.
Now with these findings, as of the week (5/10) morning the number of victims found was 141 people.Consisting of 104 in a survivor, 37 died, one of which is still a body piece.While there are 26 people who have not been found.
As is known, the three -storey building, including a musala at the Putra Pondok Pesantren Al Khoziny dormitory in Buduran, Sidoarjo, collapsed, on Monday (29/9) afternoon.
