“Decision: reject the public prosecutor’s cassation and reject the defendant’s cassation,” reads the decision quoted on the Supreme Court clerk’s website, Monday (8/12).

Case number: 10230 K/PID.SUS/2025 was examined and tried by the chairman of the panel, Yohanes Priyana, with judges from Arizon Mega Jaya and Noor Edi Yono.Substitute Registrar for Firdaus Intercession.The decision will be made on Wednesday, December 3 2025.
The sentence of 10 years in prison plus a fine of Rp. 500 million, subsidiary to three months in prison, strengthens the verdict of the panel of judges at the Corruption Crime Court (Tipikor) at the Central Jakarta District Court (PN) and the Jakarta High Court (PT).
together with Erintuah Damanik and Mangapul were found guilty of accepting bribes and gratuities as stated in Article 6 paragraph 2 and Article 12B in conjunction with Article 18 of the Corruption Eradication Law (UU Tipikor) in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
This sentence is lighter than the demands of the Public Prosecutor (JPU) who wanted Heru to be sentenced to 12 years in prison and a fine of IDR 750 million, subsidiary to 6 months in prison.
In this case, two of Heru’s colleagues who were part of the panel of judges who acquitted Ronald Tannur, namely Erintuah Damanik and Mangapul, were sentenced to 7 years in prison and a fine of IDR 500 million, subsidiary to three months in prison.
Erintuah Damanik, Mangapul and Heru Hanindyo as former judges at the Surabaya District Court are accused of receiving bribes amounting to IDR 1 billion and Sin$ 308,000 allegedly to handle the murder case involving Gregorius Ronald Tannur (31).
In total, the bribes received were worth around IDR 4.3 billion.
The crime occurred between January 2024 and August 2024 or at least at a certain time in 2024 at the Class IA Special District Court in Surabaya and the Dunkin Donuts Outlet at General Ahmad Yani Airport, Semarang.
The handling of this case allegedly involved the former Head of the Supreme Court (MA) Research and Development and Education and Training Center, Zarof Ricar.
Ronald Tannur was ultimately acquitted by Erintuah Damanik et al based on the Surabaya District Court decision Number: 454/Pid.B/2024/PN.Sby dated 24 July 2024. However, at the cassation level, the Supreme Court overturned the acquittal.Ronald Tannur was sentenced to five years in prison.
The chairman of the cassation panel, Soesilo, has a different opinion or dissenting opinion.According to him, Ronald Tannur should be acquitted of the prosecutor’s charges because he was not proven to have killed Dini Sera Afriyanti.Erintuah Damanik et al were also deemed proven to have received gratuities.
Erintuah is said to have received gratuities in the form of rupiah and foreign currency.Namely money amounting to IDR 97,500,000, Sin$32,000 and RM35,992.25.
He kept the money in his house and apartment, and did not report the receipt to the Corruption Eradication Commission within 30 days so it was considered gratification.
Meanwhile, Heru is said to have received gratification in the form of cash amounting to Rp. 104,500,000, US$18,400, Sin$19,100, ¥100,000 (Yen), €6,000 (Euro) and SR21,715 (Saudi Riyal).
Heru kept the money in the Bank Mandiri Safe Deposit Box (SDB) Cikini Branch Office, Central Jakarta and at his home.
Meanwhile, Mangapul is said to have received illegal receipts according to law with details of IDR 21,400,000.00, US$ 2,000 and Sin$ 6,000.He kept the money in his apartment.
