Truck containing 17 students from the Faculty of Agriculture, Hasanuddin University (
Unhas
) had an accident in Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi.
These students are about to go home to carry out field practice.

“Yes, that’s right, there was a single accident, where the truck carrying 17 Unhas students overturned on a downhill road in the Sierra area, Malino, Gowa Regency,” said Unhas Public Relations, Ishaq Rahman in a release, Sunday (16/11).
Ishaq explained that as many as 70 students majoring in agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture, Hasanuddin University, together with 16 lecturers and 3 teaching staff carried out field practice in Malino, on Saturday (15/11).
However, on his way home on Sunday (16/11) at around 13.00 WITA he had a single accident.
“On the way back to Makassar, one of the trucks carrying 17 students had an accident, overturning on a downhill and winding road,” he said.
As a result of this incident, said Ishaq, 11 students were injured.They were immediately evacuated by the community at the accident site to the community health center to receive medical treatment.
“All of the victims were conscious, most of them had bruises and injuries. The accompanying lecturer and other students then tried to find a replacement vehicle. After arriving, the 9 students were immediately examined at the Unhas Teaching Hospital,” he explained.
Ishaq confirmed that all students who were victims of the accident were conscious and had no serious injuries.
“Until this information was conveyed, the condition of all the victims was in good condition. Generally they had bruises and abrasions. There was 1 victim (male) who was examined for a CT scan because of bruises on the head and only 1 victim is still being treated at the Unhas Hospital, the others have been allowed to go home,” he said.
