“In recent weeks, the Navy has supported our mission to destroy terrorist cartels,” Trump said at the time.

Shortly after this, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro released recordings in the telegram and condemned US aggression of his country.
“Our people have never been and will never be afraid to defend their rights to live and be free,” Maduro said, without referring to Trump’s latest comments.
“We will be ready to face any scenario,” he added.
Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yvan Gil had said that his Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov’s partner expressed full support and solidarity to Caracas through telephone calls between the two.
On Saturday, Gil said Maduro had sent a letter to Pope Leo XIV to ask for support to immediately create peace in Venezuela.
This latest attack, is the fourth time carried out by US troops in a few weeks.
