Polda Metro Jaya arrested one of the conspirators

who shot prison guard Atim Suhara (42) to death after thwarting a motorbike theft or motorbike theft in Cakung,
East Jakarta
on Saturday (8/11) morning.
“Within 12 hours the perpetrator of the shooting in Cakung was arrested by the police,” said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Budi Hermanto to journalists, Sunday (9/11).
Budi said that currently the perpetrator with the initials R was immediately questioned by investigators from the Resmob Sub-Directorate, Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya.

He explained that the perpetrator was arrested at Bakauheni Harbor when he was about to flee to Lampung.
Furthermore, Budi said that currently the Resmob Sub-Directorate team and the East Jakarta Police are still pursuing other perpetrators and the firearms used by the perpetrators.
“The team from Resmob and East Jakarta Police are pursuing the other perpetrators and the guns used,” he concluded.
This shooting case began when the victim was on duty with two of his colleagues, T (48) and R (58).They caught two perpetrators of motorbike theft (curanmor) who were trying to dismantle the motorbike from CCTV footage.
The victim and two colleagues then headed to the location using a motorbike.As soon as he arrived at the location, the victim immediately crashed into the perpetrator’s vehicle.
However, the perpetrator fired two shots and hit the victim in the stomach.The victim was then rushed to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, but his life could not be saved.
