has succeeded in identifying three bodies of the 22 fatalities in
fire

“Tonight a reconciliation trial was held to determine the identity of the victim and decide on three bodies that had been identified,” said Karumkit RS Polri Brigadier General Prima Heru to reporters, Tuesday evening.

Prima explained that the three victims’ bodies were identified based on fingerprints, medical records, dental records and property belonging to the victims.
He said he did not carry out an autopsy and only carried out an external examination.From this examination, it is suspected that the victim died due to carbon dioxide gas from the fire that burned on the 1st floor of the building.
“Possibly because we only carried out external inspections, possibly because we inhaled carbon dioxide gas, CO2,” he said.
On the other hand, Prima said that until tonight his party had received 20 reports from the families of the victims.Then, 11 body bags were also examined.
The following is a list of the three identified victims’ bodies:
1. Rufaidha Lathiifunnisa, female, 22 years old, identified based on fingerprints, medical records and property
2. Novia Nurwana, female, 28 years old, identified based on fingerprints, teeth, medical and property
3. Yoga Valdier Yaseer, male, 28 years old, identified based on fingerprints, teeth, medical and property
A fire broke out at the Terra Drone Building located in Cempaka Baru, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta (Jakpus) on Tuesday (9/12) afternoon.The fire is thought to have started from a battery on the 1st floor of the building.
“At around 12.30 there was a battery on the 1st floor, that was the one that caught fire. Then it was extinguished by employees, then it turned out that the burning battery spread because on the 1st floor this is one of the warehouses,” said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Commissioner Susatyo Purnomo Condro to reporters.
At the time of the incident, employees were on their lunch break.Some employees were said to be outside, while others went up to floors two to six to rest.
“Then when it caught fire, the fire got bigger, then the smoke rose to the sixth floor,” said Susatyo.
The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) recorded a total of 76 victims in the incident.Of that number, 54 victims survived and 22 victims died.
