, Uzbekistan mass media, Kapadze is likely to soon take on the task of coaching the Indonesian national team after parting ways with Uzbekistan.
“I am ready to lead the Indonesian national team. Currently I am free and waiting for an offer,” said Kapadze in an interview with the Uzbekistan news agency, UZA, as reported by

This 44 year old man started as head coach of Uzbekistan in 2025, after managing the U-23 team since 2021. He also served as interim coach of Uzbekistan in 2018.
One of Kapadze’s achievements with Uzbekistan was winning a ticket to the 2026 World Cup. After securing that ticket, Kapadze was replaced by Fabio Cannavaro in October 2025.
However, Kapadze is still accompanying Cannavaro.He is tasked with being a companion in this replacement process.This November, Kapadze was officially released from his contract.
Kapdze said that anything could happen, including dealing with Indonesia.In fact, Kapadze was asked to stay, but wanted to find new experiences.
“I still have the opportunity to stay with the national team, but I have my own ideas. I intend to gain new experience and increase my knowledge,” he said.
Meanwhile, currently the position of Indonesian National Team coach is vacant.PSSI is looking for the right person and Kapadze is considered a worthy candidate.
