President Prabowo Subianto appointed lifter Rizki Juniansyah to second lieutenant in the TNI after winning gold at the 2025 World Championships.

At the World Weightlifting Championships which took place in early October 2025, Rizki won two gold and one bronze in the men’s 79 kilogram class.
Gold came from a total lift of 361 kilograms and a clean and jerk lift of 204 kilograms.Meanwhile, bronze was the result of a snatch lift weighing 157 kilograms.
2. The Indonesian U-17 National Team was thrown out of the third best qualifying zone
The Indonesian U-17 national team has temporarily dropped or slipped from the best third place in the 2025 U-17 World Cup.
As of Thursday (6/12), after the 12 groups of the 2025 U-17 World Cup took place, Indonesia U-17 was not included in the list of teams that would qualify for the knockout phase or round of 32.

Competing at the Petaling Jaya Stadium, Malaysia, Thursday (6/11) evening, Bojan Hodak’s team had to trail 0-2 at the end of the first half.However, Persib was able to score three goals in the second half which made a comeback.
Adam Alis scored two goals and his second goal decided Persib’s victory in the seventh minute of second half injury time.
