Toyota Veloz Hybrid Allegedly Launched This Month, Here’s the NJKB

Astra Motor (TAM) is certain to launch a new car at the 2025 Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW). The new car is thought to be the Veloz Hybrid.
Ahead of its launch, it was leaked that it was alleged that the NJKB or Motor Vehicle Sales Value (NJKB) of the Veloz Hybrid had a sales value of IDR 271 million and IDR 291 million based on data on a government-run site.
Meanwhile, the car codes contained on the Samsat PKB Jakarta website are W102RE-LBVFJ 1.5 Q HV CVT and W102RE-LBVEJ 1.5 0 HV CVT.

For your information, NJKB is not the final price of a motor vehicle. There are still several components including taxes that increase the selling price to consumers.

Launching at GJAW 2025
Previously, Philardi Ogi as Public Relations Manager of Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) explained that Toyota would reveal a hybrid car with World Premiere status from Indonesia.
“We have a world premiere. Maybe this is one of them. The most awaited HEV, featuring one of the HEV vehicles that is produced locally and developed locally. So this is an Indonesian product, from Indonesia for the Indonesian people. This is probably what we will be waiting for too,” said Ogi in Jakarta, Friday (24/10).
Even though he didn’t elaborate, Ogi said that this hybrid car was one of the Toyota products that the people of Indonesia had been waiting for.He also provided insight into whether the development of this product would be carried out domestically.
From the leaks provided, it is suspected that this car is a Veloz Hybrid.
The other two cars are the locally assembled bZ4X and another one which is suspected to be the Suzuki eVitara’s twin electric car, namely the Urban Cruiser EV which was introduced in July 2025.
