Budi explained Projo comes from Sanskrit which means ‘land’ and in Javanese Kawi which means ‘people’.

“So the Projo people are a people who love the country and its people,” he explained.
Later, Budi also revealed Projo’s plan to change his organization’s logo so that it doesn’t appear to be a cult of individuals.The Projo logo currently displays the silhouette of the face of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo.
Budi said the plan to change the logo was one of Projo’s efforts to carry out organizational transformation.
Regarding this issue, Budi denied that Projo’s relationship with Jokowi was broken.
Budi emphasized that Projo’s presence is also inseparable from Jokowi’s presence on the national political scene.
“I want to explain to all media friends because from the development of this news it seems as if Projo has broken off relations with Pak Jokowi, don’t frame it,” said Budi Arie at the 3rd Projo Congress, Jakarta, Sunday (2/11).
