The deaths of two children in Beit Ummar came after Israeli soldiers shot at children in the southern part of the city, then carried away their bodies.Furthermore, the Zionist troops declared the area a closed military zone.
Mohammed Awad, a local activist, said Israeli forces had intensified raids and chased farmers in the area, after the illegal Karmei Tzur settlement had been disturbed.
He added that Palestinians have faced beatings, arrests and increased attacks by settlers aimed at pressuring the population to leave their land.
Mosque Burned
Apart from that, citing AFP, Israeli settlers attacked and even burned mosques in the West Bank.
Violence by Jewish settlers has increased in recent weeks in the West Bank.It has sparked international condemnation and even rare criticism from within the Israeli military and government.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry based in Ramallah, West Bank, said Israeli settlers burned down the Hajja Hamida Mosque near the northern city of Deir Istiya.
“These actions clearly violate the sanctity of places of worship and reflect the deep-rooted racism that drives settlers to take refuge under the protection of the occupying government,” the ministry said.

at the scene showed that a copy of the Al-Quran was burned and the walls of the mosque were blackened by smoke. The walls of the mosque were also seen covered in graffiti.
Israel has occupied the West Bank, Palestine, since 1967. It is estimated that more than 500,000 Israelis now live in settlements that displace Palestinian territory.
This small minority of Israelis commit violence against Palestinians, who complain that Israeli forces usually do not arrest settlers.
All settlements in the West Bank are illegal under international law.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres condemned the attacks in the West Bank.Through his spokesman, he said, “Such acts of violence and desecration of religious places are unacceptable.”
“Such incidents are part of a growing pattern of extremist violence that is fueling tensions and must be stopped immediately,” added Guterres’ spokesman, Stephane Dujarric.
The Destruction of Gaza
Meanwhile in Gaza, more than 1,500 buildings have been destroyed by the Israeli army since the ceasefire agreement took effect last month. These observations are based on the results shown by LW as shown by satellite imagery released Wednesday (11/11).

BBC Verify
shows entire residential areas in Israeli-controlled territory outside the so-called ‘yellow line’ in Gaza have been completely destroyed since October 10.
Meanwhile, satellite images taken in Rafah, Jabalia and Gaza City before and after the ceasefire agreement also showed increasing damage visible from rubble and flattened buildings in the area.
According to the Palestinian Authority Media Office in Gaza, Israel has committed 282 ceasefire violations.A total of 12 of them were attacks on residential areas, 124 attacks and 52 bombing operations targeted civilian buildings.
As a result of the Israeli attack, 242 Palestinians were killed and more than 620 others were injured.
The Gaza ceasefire deal went into effect on October 10, under United States President Donald Trump’s 20-point plan.
The first phase of the ceasefire deal includes the release of Israeli hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners. The plan also includes rebuilding Gaza and establishing a new governing mechanism without involving Hamas.
Since October 2023, the Israeli army has killed more than 69,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, injured more than 170,000 others, and made the Gaza Strip uninhabitable.
