South Korea performed impressively in the first match of the 2025 U-17 World Cup by beating Mexico, Tuesday (4/11).Meanwhile Egypt beat Haiti.
Competing on Field 1 Aspire Zone, Doha, South Korea managed to take the lead through Hyeon Bin Koo’s action in the 19th minute.
Being left behind by one goal forced Mexico to score a goal back.However, the goal that Mexico had been waiting for only arrived a minute before the end of the first half through Aldo De Nigris.

A 1-1 draw was the ideal result for both teams until the first half break.
Four minutes after entering the second half, South Korea took the lead again.This time it was Ian Nam’s turn to score a goal to put South Korea ahead 2-1.
Mexico tried hard to catch up but the efforts made never produced results.South Korea successfully maintained a 2-1 lead until the match was over.
This result puts South Korea in second place in Group F with three points.Korea only lost in goal productivity to Switzerland, which previously won 4-1 over Ivory Coast.
On a separate field, Egypt also achieved positive results in their first Group E match against Haiti.Egypt, which was still too tough, managed to beat Haiti 4-1.
