Gaza Strip

“Around 81 percent of all buildings in the Gaza Strip were damaged,” said Farhan Haq on Monday (3/11), quoted

He then said, “North Gaza experienced the largest increase in damage since July 2025, with nearly 5,700 buildings affected.”
Farhan Haq also said that more than 123,000 buildings along the route had been identified as destroyed, another 50,000 were seriously or moderately damaged, and 24,000 were possibly damaged.
Furthermore, he said renovation work was underway at four schools.Over the past three days, the UN and its partners have supported the reopening of five temporary learning spaces in Gaza City.
“The ongoing increase in aid response has had a positive impact on communities throughout the Gaza Strip,” said Farhan.
However, there is still a lot that needs to be done to meet all needs.
The Gaza Strip was devastated after Israel launched brutal aggression since October 2023. Since then, they have not stopped attacking residents and civilian objects.
As a result of this aggression, more than 68,000 people in Palestine were killed and millions of people were forced to become refugees.
