This resolution is said to support the peace plan for Gaza proposed by US President Donald Trump on September 29.One of them is regarding the formation of the BoP “as a transitional government” in Gaza which will be led by Trump.
With this resolution, the BoP was given the authority to form an International Stabilization Force (ISF) which could be deployed under the command of the BoP.Countries wishing to contribute personnel must consult with Egypt and Israel.
US Ambassador to the UN Mike Waltz said the adoption of this resolution marked an important step in allowing Gaza to become a prosperous region while allowing Israel to live safely.
“ISF will stabilize the security environment, support the demilitarization of Gaza, dismantle terrorist infrastructure, decommission weapons, and maintain the safety of Palestinian civilians,” he said, as quoted

Trump has welcomed the resolution’s passage, saying it was the largest agreement in UN history.
He thanked all UNSC members, including Russia and China, as well as the countries that had supported these efforts, namely “Qatar, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Turkey and Jordan”.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Hamas militia group stated that this resolution did not meet the political and humanitarian demands and rights of the Palestinian people.Hamas rejects the deployment of the ISF which is seen as foreign control over the Gaza Strip.
“Any international force, if formed, must be deployed only on the border to separate troops, monitor the ceasefire, and must be fully under UN supervision,” Hamas said in a statement, as quoted

Reporting from AFP, based on the resolution, the BoP will be given a mandate to govern Gaza until the end of 2027. This body will coordinate reconstruction efforts in the enclave.
In complicated language, it was also stated that a Palestinian state would certainly be established in the future. It is said that the formation of a Palestinian state can be carried out after the Palestinian Authority is reformed and Gaza is completely reconstructed.
This resolution also calls for the resumption of large-scale aid deliveries by humanitarian agencies such as the UN, ICRC and Red Crescent.
