Ejae expressed his disbelief when he learned that the KPop film Demon Hunters had won four nominations at the 2026 Grammy Awards on Friday (7/11).

Ejae’s achievement is a prize that has been fought for for more than a decade.After failing to debut on SM as a K-pop idol, Ejae decided to continue his studies.

After graduating from art school, he then chose to become a songwriter and producer.Ejae then met musician under SM, Andrew Choi, who later became his mentor.
After completing songwriting training, Ejae was then involved in working on the song Psycho for Red Velvet which opened more doors for Ejae.After that, Ejae produced a number of songs, including the soundtrack for the drama Woman of 9.9 Billion, Drama for aespa, and Birthday for Red Velvet.
Until finally he decided to join the KPop Demon Hunters project.In this animated film, he not only created the phenomenal song Golden, but also provided vocals for the character Rumi, vocalist of the fictional trio HUNTR/X.
