flood disaster
– Landslides in Aceh, North Sumatra and West Sumatra increased on Sunday (7/12).
Based on data on the official website, the number of victims who died as a result of the disaster was 916 people, an increase of 2 people from data on Saturday (6/12) afternoon.Meanwhile, the number of missing people is 274 people.
BNPB also reported that as many as 4,200 people were injured as a result of the disaster.Then there were 1,300 public facilities damaged, 199 health facilities damaged and 697 educational facilities damaged.

Apart from that, BNPB reported that 420 places of worship were damaged, 234 buildings or offices were damaged and 405 bridges were damaged.
On Saturday evening, President Prabowo Subianto chaired a limited meeting with a number of Red and White Cabinet ministers at his residence in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, to discuss the disaster.
He ordered the restoration of electricity by tonight.
“In West Sumatra the electricity is almost completely turned on, while in North Sumatra there are still several points, such as in Langkat and Tapanuli, where the electricity has not been turned on. Likewise in several areas in Aceh. The President has also ordered that no later than tomorrow evening, the electricity must be fully turned on,” said Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.
Prabowo, said Teddy, also ordered that all land road access in disaster-affected areas must be restored immediately, temporary bridges could be ready immediately.
Apart from that, fuel supply must be available quickly, and logistics needs must be sufficient, not lacking.
He said Prabowo continues to monitor the situation on the ground from time to time and ensures readiness to revisit the affected areas.
“In particular, the President also immediately gave instructions to speed up recovery in areas where land routes are still cut off, such as Takengon and Bener Meriah. These routes must be connected immediately,” he said.
