US Tycoon Angry Because Zohran Mamdani Wins New York Election

“Big Apple” billionaire John Catsimatidis went berserk and vowed to move his business to New Jersey when
Zohran Mamdani
elected mayor of New York.
Catsimatidis concerns Mamdani’s plans to build city-sponsored shops without taxes or rent, working with farmers and small businesses.

This aims to sell products at wholesale prices and without profit, aimed at reducing rising food prices.
After Mamdani officially won, Catsimatidis voiced his concerns.
“Many entrepreneurs are now reducing their involvement in New York City,” he told

Catsimatidis also faced the same thing.”We no longer have a profit margin,” he said, explaining his shop has been losing money “for the last two years.”
The businessman, who employs thousands of people, has not yet determined whether government-owned shops will reduce prices further, but he will cut workers.

Previously, Catsimatidis had protested when Mamdani proposed cheap grocery stores owned by the city government in every region.
He held press conferences with bodega owners, threatened to close more than 30 of his stores if the democratic socialists won, and criticized them harshly on television.

He also contacted the President of the United States, Donald Trump, who gave him open support.
