Uston Nawawi opens his voice about rumors about the opportunity to become a permanent coach

“I don’t know yet,” said Uston briefly in response to a question about his chances of becoming a permanent coach, Saturday (6/12).
Uston explained that currently he is only focused on carrying out his responsibilities as interim coach, while waiting for the club management’s decision.
“In my opinion, I was not given a specific target or anything like that. This is my responsibility because at the moment there is no coach. Yes, we have to be prepared like that. We really have to get another win. We have tried together with the team, hopefully in the next match we will get 3 more points,” he said.
Uston gave high appreciation to the players who were considered to have shown hard work and carried out instructions according to plan when facing PSM.
“Our target everywhere is still to get 3 points. But thank God, we are grateful for this one point because PSM is a good team, filled with quality players, and in the last three matches played away from home they got 9 points,” said Uston.
After this, the 2025/2026 Super League will be paused again.Persebaya will use this moment to carry out an overall evaluation.Persebaya will appear again in the Super League against leaders Borneo FC on 20 December.
“After this match we will have a holiday, because we play again on the 20th against Borneo FC. Of course we will evaluate. Even though we haven’t lost, we haven’t won either. In the remaining time we will evaluate with the coaching team and staff. And we are determined to get the three points back,” said Uston.
