Veda Ega appeared impressive despite losing dramatic to Brian Uriarte on the last lap on the Red Bull Ring Circuit, Austria.
“Alhamdulillah, I can get another podium, today in second place. Today’s race is difficult, because it is held in the morning and the temperature is quite low, but I am still happy,” Veda Ega said after the race.
“Today’s podium is very special for me and also the entire Indonesian people, because today is Indonesian Independence Day. This podium is for all Indonesian people, yes this podium is for Indonesia,” Veda Ega added.
Ega also did not forget to thank all those who faithfully supported him.
“Thank you to all who always support me, the Red Bull Rookies crew, my mechanic, my family, my sponsor,” he said.
This result is a test of race 1 which took place on Saturday (8/16).In the race that took place on a wet track, Veda Ega was also defeated by Uriarte.
Despite failing to win, Veda Ega managed to rise to second place in the Red Bull Rookies 2025 with a score of 170 points.With the remaining two series and four races, Veda Ega still has a great chance of becoming the World Champion Red Bull Rookies 2025 because it is only 21 points adrift.
