The magnitude 6.1 earthquake shook Sindirgi Diturki Western on Sunday (10/8).
The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Agency (AFAD) reported that the earthquake occurred at 19.53 local time, coupled with a subsequent earthquake of 4.6 a few minutes later.
A number of buildings in Sindirgi and BailySir also collapsed the impact of the earthquake.
The earthquake was felt in several cities in western Türkiye, including in Istanbul and Izmir’s popular tourist attractions.
