A number of online media in Asia featured banners and solidarity messages to call for journalists’ protection in Gaza, Monday (1/9).
This action is part of the protest organized by reporters and Avaaz reporters.
The protest was triggered by Israeli attack on August 25 against the Nasser Hospital in Gaza, which killed at least 20 people, including five Reuters, Associated Press, Al Jazeera, and other media journalists.
The attack also reaped criticism from Western leaders and the international community.
