Dozens of Malaysians held a solidarity action in front of the Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, Tuesday (2/9).
This action was carried out to support the protest of Indonesian citizens against the government.
The demonstration in Indonesia was triggered by dissatisfaction with the State Budget and the DPR allowance, then heated up after the death of an ojol driver, Affan Kurniawan, due to being crushed by a Brimob tactical vehicle (Rantis), Thursday (8/28).
Participants in the action condemned the leadership of President Prabowo Subianto and repressive actions of the apparatus as a form of violation of democracy and human rights.
So far, ten people were reported dead, while the police continued to arrest activists and fired tear gas, including in the campus area.
