WALHI National Executive External Deputy Mukri Friatna, stated that the government’s response in dealing with the disaster in Sumatra was below normal.Mukri stated that after there was a warning from BMKG the government should be ready to face the threat of flooding.Apart from that, according to Mukri, the government must also improve the mitigation system, both structural and non-structural.
