Not even a year in office, Riau Governor Abdul Wahid was caught in a sting operation or OTT by the KPK last Wednesday.
The PKB cadre is suspected of accepting bribes related to a number of projects at the Public Works Department for the 2025 fiscal year.
Abdul Wahid is the fourth Riau Governor to be charged by the KPK in a corruption case, after three of his predecessors were also involved in similar cases.
