stated that the Government was moving quickly to restore Aceh’s energy infrastructure after flash floods and landslides destroyed a number of vital facilities.
Bahlil revealed this when visiting Bireuen, Aceh, Tuesday (2/12).Accompanied by ESDM, Pertamina and PLN officials, Bahlil inspected a number of PLN power lines that collapsed due to flash floods and landslides in Aceh.
Bahlil admitted that Bireuen’s condition after the disaster was very worrying.Bahlil ensured that the government would try as hard and as quickly as possible to restore conditions.One of the government’s main focuses is to restore the electricity network which was paralyzed due to the collapse of the PLN Sutet tower in a badly affected area.

“Oh, what a pity. Indeed, many areas have been flooded and there are still many isolated areas. Apart from that, some of our infrastructure, electricity, electricity towers have fallen.”
“This is the reason why there are blackouts in the Aceh area and its surroundings. This is very concerning and we have to take it seriously,” added Bahlil.
The area of the collapsed duct cannot be reached by vehicle, so the material to build the 35 ton tower had to be transported by helicopter.A total of 12 towers were damaged.
“Today we will inspect several strategic main towers which we must install immediately. However, mobilizing the materials is very difficult, everything uses helicopters. And I and the President Director of PLN, President Director of Pertamina, we will explain about the fuel supply and how to speed it up so that the electricity can be turned on,” said Bahlil.
