Visiting the 16.4 Hectare Disputed Land in Makassar, JK Was Very Angry

(JK) was angry when he directly inspected his 16.4 hectare land on Jalan Metro Tanjung, Tamalate District, Makassar, South Sulawesi (Sulsel) which is now the object of a dispute and is suspected to have been taken over.
JK claims legal ownership of the land and accuses of robbery attempts and land mafia games involving other parties.
“I want to see, I have land. That’s the conclusion,” said JK to journalists at the location, Wednesday (5/11).

JK looked angry and emphasized that he had strong legal evidence and that the land was purchased directly from the heirs of the king of Gowa around 35 years ago.
“I already have the certificate, bought and sold it 35 years ago, I bought it myself,” said the former Golkar General Chair.
JK denied having any legal relationship with PT Gowa Makassar Tourism Development (GMTD) regarding this dispute.According to him, the party being sued by GMTD is a figure whose capacity he doubts.
“Because what is the name of the person being sued? Majo ‘Balang? That’s a fish seller, right? How come a fish seller owns this much land? So it’s a lie, fabrication, all kinds of things,” he said.
In fact, JK openly accused land mafia interference behind this dispute.
“Yes, that (what GMTD bought) was from Haji Najmiah. Haji Najmiah was the land mafia here in the past,” he said.
JK called the attempt to take over this land a form of robbery.
“Because we have it, there is the letter, there is the certificate. Suddenly he confessed. That’s called robbery, right,” he explained.
Responding to the execution order from the court, JK strongly criticized the process.He stated that the mandatory procedures, namely matching and measuring on site (constating), were not carried out properly.

JK accused the execution of being carried out secretly.However, the 10th and 12th vice presidents promised to fight back with legal measures and demand justice.
“Wherever we go, we are ready to fight. (Against) injustice, untruth,” he concluded.
