Vitinha
stole attention after scoring a hat trick in Paris Saint-Germain (PSG)’s 5-3 win over Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League match at the Parc des Princes, Wednesday (26/11).
The hat trick against Tottenham was the first in Vitinha’s career.This also confirms the 25 year old player as one of Europe’s top central midfielders.
Together with Joao Neves and Fabian Ruiz, Vitinha makes PSG’s midfield so attractive.The collaboration between the three of them was also a determining factor in PSG’s success last season when they won their first Champions League title.

Vitinha comes from FC Porto’s academy, which is considered one of the best in Europe.His playing vision, precise passing technique and ability to build attacks from midfield made him stand out from a young age.
Vitinha joined the Porto academy at the age of 11.His club career began in 2019 when he debuted with Porto’s reserve team and was part of the squad that won the 2018-19 UEFA Youth League.
In 2020, he was loaned for one season to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the English Premier League.Debuted and scored his first goal in the FA Cup in 2021.
After completing his loan period, Vitinha returned to play for Porto after impressing at the 2021 U-21 European Cup. He scored his first goal in the league and provided an assist in the 3-0 win over Benfica at the Taça de Portugal.
