2026 World Cup
will be the next agenda from FIFA after officially announcing the list of seed pot distributions.
FIFA has announced the list of draw pots on Tuesday (25/11).A total of 48 teams that will participate are divided into four different pots.
After this, the drawing process for the 2026 World Cup will be carried out.The drawing will take place at the John F. Kennedy Center, Washington DC, United States, December 5 afternoon or December 6 at 00.00 WIB.

In the final drawing procedure, it was determined that hosts Canada, Mexico and the United States would be in Pot 1, the rest would be adjusted according to the latest FIFA rankings.
Excluding the three hosts, the other 39 who have qualified for the 2026 World Cup will be placed in four pots, each pot containing 12 teams.
The teams or countries that are still in the play-off round will be placed in Pot 4. The play-off round will compete for the remaining six tickets which will take place in March 2026.
Later during the drawing, the four teams with the highest ranking will be drawn randomly to opposite lanes.The same principle will apply to the third and fourth highest ranked teams.
This is to ensure that, if teams with high FIFA rankings become group winners, these teams will not meet before the final.

Pot 4: Jordan, Cape Verde, Ghana, Curacao, Haiti, New Zealand, European Play-Offs A, B, C, and D, Inter-confederation Play-Offs 1 and 2
