revealed the trigger for the beating carried out by six members of the National Police on Thursday (11/12) against two men who worked as
eagle eye
until he died in Kalibata, South Jakarta.
Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Budi Hermanto said the two eagle eyes stopped Bripda AM’s motorbike and took out the keys.

“One vehicle from the suspect AM was stopped by Eagle Eye,” said Bhudi at Polda Metro Jaya, Saturday (13/12).
“So when the ignition key was removed, the National Police officers did not accept this action.”
This situation sparked a quarrel that resulted in a beating by six members of the National Police against the two eagle eyes.Bhudi said the beatings were carried out with bare hands and without weapons.

“So the five people (police) were indeed in the same location. So they were together with AM’s brother. AM whose motorbike was intercepted at the beginning,” explained Bhudi.
“Seeing his friends arguing, so another friend helped. We are still investigating that there is information related to the death of two people at the crime scene and several of their friends also ran away,” said Bhudi.
The six members are Brigadier IAM, Bripda JLA, Bripda RGW, Bripda IAB, Bripda BN and Bripda AM.They have been named as suspects charged under Article 170 paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code.
The six police officers are scheduled to undergo a code of ethics trial next week.
Karo Penmas, National Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, previously stated that the actions of the six members fell into the category of serious violations.
“Based on Article 17 paragraph 3 of Perpol Number 7 of 2022 concerning the Professional Code of Ethics and the National Police Code of Ethics Commission, actions that are carried out deliberately and involve personal or other party interests, and have an impact on society, institutions and/or the state that give rise to legal consequences, the actions of the six alleged violators fall into the category of serious violations,” said Trunoyudo.
