) Rini Widyantini opens up about plans for recruiting civil servant candidates (
CPNS
) 2026.
He emphasized that the government is currently still collecting formation requirements from all ministries and institutions.
Rini asked the public to wait for official confirmation regarding the 2026 CPNS recruitment. However, she confirmed that all ministries/institutions (K/L) had been asked to submit the formations that were really needed for next year.

“Of course I am very concerned about how regeneration will be for ASN and of course para
fresh graduate
,” said Rini after the Press Conference on the Development of the OECD Accession Process at the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy, Central Jakarta, Thursday (11/12).
“Yesterday we really focused a lot on completing honorary staff (appointed to state civil servants/ASN). In the future, I hope I can focus on fresh graduates so they can participate and become part of the bureaucracy,” he continued.
Currently, Rini said that her party is concentrating on completing the issuance of the Decree (SK) on the appointment of ASN 2025. She revealed that there are still many regional governments (Pemda) that have not completed the target which should be completed in October 2025.
Even so, the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform did not state that next year there would be no new ASN recruitment.Rini only emphasized that all ministries in President Prabowo Subianto’s cabinet, totaling 48, had been asked to submit an analysis of ASN needs.
“Well, I have asked them to carry out a needs analysis, according to the strategy for the next 5 years. So, we can see whether there will be positive growth in certain positions, whether there should be minus growth, or whether it should stay like that,” he said.
According to Rini, ASN’s needs will also be aligned with the Asta Cita program which is the policy direction of the Prabowo government.

He emphasized that the focus of Law Number 20 of 2023 concerning ASN is not just to combine salary components, but to formulate a more comprehensive reward concept for ASN.
“So, it’s not just that we combine salaries, that’s not the concept. In fact, we give appreciation to ASN not only from material things, but from the work system. Then, from appreciation of performance, office atmosphere, career system, that’s it. So, we actually use it totally

to ASN,” he explained.
