The Pro and Pro Max were recently released in China, making them a serious challenger to Apple’s cellphone, the iPhone 17, which was launched globally first.However, there has been no announcement when this flagship cellphone will be sold in the global market, including Indonesia.

In addition, the rear screen supports preview and selfie functions, allowing users to take selfies directly using the main camera.
On the front, the screen uses an M10 panel and SuperRED material like the basic variant.Especially for the 17 Pro Max variant exclusively, Xiaomi adopts independent pixel array technology which produces sharper clarity while consuming less power than conventional 2K screens.
Xiaomi 17 Pro Max is also equipped with Xiaomi Shield Glass 3.0 to ensure a strong and durable screen.
On the photography side, the Xiaomi 17 Pro series is equipped with a Leica Summilux imaging system with the main camera given improvements such as a large f/1.67 aperture, 1G+6P lens, and anti-glare coating.The camera system is also supported by a 1/1.28 inch Light Fusion 950L sensor and next generation LOFIC High Dynamic technology, bringing this phone to the 16.5EV HDR range.
Xiaomi 17 Pro also introduces a reverse floating telephoto lens and supports telephoto macro shooting at a distance of 20 cm.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max is equipped with a 5x periscope telephoto lens with an extended 1/2-inch sensor, a large aperture of f/2.6, and hardware-level HDR support.
Its new light-collecting prism structure is said to significantly increase light collection by up to 30 percent more.
Using the Xiaomi Surge battery, the Xiaomi 17 Pro series is equipped with 16 percent silicon content which produces high energy density.The batteries are also stacked in an L shape to maximize internal space utilization and increase energy density while maintaining a slim design.
This structure produces a battery with a capacity of 6300mAh for the Xiaomi 17 Pro, and 7500mAh for the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max.
Xiaomi 17 Pro series models support 100W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 100W PPS universal fast charging protocol.
In addition, this cellphone also has a UWB-enabled smart car key function for keyless vehicle access.
Price prediction for Xiaomi 17 Pro and Pro Max in Indonesia
Until now there has been no official information stating the exact price of the Xiaomi 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max in Indonesia.However, if you enter Indonesia, the price will certainly be more expensive than the market in China, because there are import costs, taxes and market adjustments.
Referring to the previous generation, Xiaomi only released the regular version of Xiaomi 15 in Indonesia.Apart from that, there are also additional variants Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro.
The Xiaomi 15 is priced starting at IDR 12.9 million, while the Xiaomi 15T is priced from IDR 6.9 million to IDR 9.9 million.
